Title: Outcome of neonates born to mothers with COVID-19 vaccine in a tertiary government hospital

Abstract

Background: There has been a significant hesitancy among pregnant people to accept COVID-19 vaccination. Vaccines were initially offered to priority groups including health care personnel and persons with co-morbidities, while pregnant women were excluded from the initial phase 3 clinical trials of COVID-19 vaccines, this is likely due to limited data were available on their efficacy and safety during pregnancy. Major efforts were done in establishing and developing guidelines for pregnant women, several vaccines against COVID-19 have been proven highly effective both in the pregnant and non-pregnant populations.

Objective: To determine the clinical outcome of neonates born to mothers with Covid-19 vaccine in a tertiary government hospital.
