Dr. Mary Iype is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatric Neurology at Government Medical College, Trivandrum, with concurrent affiliations at ICCONS Trivandrum and Shoranur. She brings extensive expertise in pediatric neurology and child neurodevelopmental rehabilitation, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Over the years, she has successfully guided several postgraduate students in their thesis and research work, fostering growth and innovation in pediatric neuroscience.

Her research interests include the long-term outcomes of children with infantile spasms and acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM).
